    • Your products and services
    • Your customers
    • Markets that you operate in
  • You should cover:
    • How your sales turnover has developed
    • How your profit has developed
    • Any events that have led to any changes. Please provide an explanation
  • You should cover:
    • Main objectives for the next 3 years
    • How these will be achieved
    • Effects that these will have on the overall business
  • You should cover:
    • Background information to the campaign;
    • The purpose of the campaign;
    • What the campaign planned to achieve;
    • Details of how the campaign was identified;
    • How the campaign was funded, if it was funded.
  • You should cover:
    • The campaigns outputs;
    • How these outputs were identified;
    • How they were measured.
  • You should cover:
    • The campaigns impact;
    • How was this measured;
    • Details of what has changed as a direct result of your use of social media.
  • You should cover:
    • The scope for development in the future
    • What objectives you hope to achieve by this development
    • If the campaign selected is a stand alone campaign then please explain why this is the case

The Rules

  1. Awards are open to all businesses based or trading in Wales; all sizes and all sectors.
  2. Entries are treated in confidence but will be shared with a select group of individuals for judging purposes.
  3. All entries must be entered via the website forms.
  4. Any website links used within your entry will not be activated by the judges. Supplementary information may be requested at the time of judging.
  5. Please note the maximum word count for each question. This word count limit does NOT include the questions or the information required in section 1. If your entry exceeds word count it will not be accepted and you will not be notified.
  6. Entrants may be asked for staff or customer testimonials.
  7. Entries will be judged at two stages by an independent and impartial panel of judges. The initial stage will be a shortlisting process, those shortlisted are then put forward to be scored by a panel of judges.  The panels consist of Headline Sponsor, Category Sponsor and SWCC representative.
  8. Award winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 5th March 2020 at City Hall, Cardiff.
  9. Entry to more than one category is encouraged.
  10. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.
  11. Entries need to be in English and typed. All entries must be checked for spelling and grammar.
  12. Incomplete entries will not be judged.
  13. Entry forms will become the property of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce and entries will not be returned.
  14. Proof of sending entry (by email) is not proof of receipt by SWCC or its agents.
  15. The South Wales Chamber of Commerce reserve the right to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.
  16. The closing date for entries is midnight 6th December 2019.
  17. The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  18. No employee of The South Wales Chamber of Commerce shall be entitled to enter.
