Member Event: Chartered Institute of Credit Management
The South Wales Branch, in association with our hosts Atradius, is pleased to welcome the CICM’s Chief Executive, Philip King, back to Cardiff on 30th January 2019 for this key event, which explores the increasing use of technology in credit management.
With the significant developments in the use of technology in financial services and credit management, we will summarise the story so far and consider what actions we should be taking to gear up for further changes in how cash flows in the market place.
Philip King will be assisted in this exploration by Gideon Jones and Tanya Giles. Both long-time members of the Atradius family, they have a broad range of experience and will provide insights both into the evolution of technology in the market and the challenges of leading through change.

Gideon Jones – Treasurer of SW branch CICM and industry expert, reflects on some of the current exciting developments affecting our industry, including Blockchain and considers the trending questions surrounding the future of credit in a changing world.

Tanya Giles – Regional Manager for Wales and South West, considers the human impact of all this change. How do we respond to rapid change, how can we ensure our response to change is positive and constructive to make the best of the new whilst ensuring we still keep the strengths of existing skills.
