What’s new with you? Tell us about any recent expansion, new services, award wins, appointments etc
I recently joined the hospital and my role as to act as the link between St Joseph’s and local businesses. I work in three main areas. Firstly we provide occupational health and wellbeing services to businesses with anything from new starter medicals and vaccination programs to continuing workplace wellness advice.
Secondly we offer a full range of Health Assessments ranging from a one hour LifeCheck to a full day Elite Health Assessments. Providing these assessments as part of a corporate benefits package helps to reduce the risk of losing a critical member of the team as well as offering reassurance to the organisation, the employees and their families.
Finally, working with legal practices to assist with personal injury and clinical negligence cases. We are able to provide excellent diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation facilities to help their client recover quickly.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefited you?
They say it’s not what you know, it’s who you know and that is especially true in business. The ability to network with other members is key, making new contacts and creating opportunities to support other member companies.
I am also looking forward to tapping into the Chamber’s training and education program to learn new skills and keep pace with changes to legislation.
