Chapter is one of Europe’s largest and most dynamic art centres; an ambitious, cultural and social space based in Cardiff that presents and produces international art, performance and film. Consisting of several performance spaces, a large gallery space and two cinemas, two bars, a café, over 60 cultural work spaces and more; we welcome up to 800,000 visitors through our doors every year. We are delighted to be able to offer a number of flexible spaces for corporate and private hire; which are suitable for everything from conferences, meetings and lectures to personal film screenings, live gigs, performances, video shoots and private parties.
Alongside all this activity we also have our own exclusive business membership scheme; Chapter Clwb, an ideal way for your businesses to become involved with Chapter. The scheme offers a range of great benefits including networking opportunities, use of our flexible hire spaces and discounts across our venue.

Chapter is now running regular monthly events aimed at the business community. These pop in business advice sessions for startups focus on HR, Accountancy and Finance and are run in partnership with Effective HRM, EST Accountants, NatWest and Business Wales. Each month these pop up events alternate with talks and discussions.
Chapter is also delighted to announce that we have recently appointed Jamie Rees as our Director of Marketing and Audience Development. Jamie has a well-established career in the arts in Wales, and joins us after a successful tenure as Marketing Manager at Torch Theatre, Milford Haven. This appointment will see him return to Cardiff, a city he knows well, having previously worked at St David’s Hall as Marketing Campaigns Manager and as Marketing Campaigns Manager at Wales Millennium Centre.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefited you?
As well as the Chamber membership benefits we are entitled to, particularly editorial opportunities via Chamber Chat, we have largely benefited from co-hosting business networking events.
These collaborative events have allowed both Chamber and Chapter Clwb members to network together; successfully boosting Chapter’s business profile throughout Cardiff as well as allowing for both parties members to benefit from this partnership.
The relationship with the Chamber has allowed for Chapter, particularly Chapter Clwb, to gain great exposure within the South Wales area.
Why would you recommend the Chamber membership to other businesses?
Chapter has been a Chamber member since 2010, and since then we have found extreme value in the member benefits and social/ networking events and have made numerous new connections with businesses and business professionals throughout Cardiff and the South Wales area. This has been of particular use since the launch of our own business membership scheme, the Chapter Clwb, in 2014, and we don’t believe we would have been able to achieve profile without the relationship with the Chamber.
We have only ever had consistent and excellent contact with and support from the South Wales Chamber team and hope our relationship with them will continue to develop.
