The Society opened its fourth branch in December 2017 in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan employing six staff. Richard Miles, is the Area Manager (East) in charge of the new branch and a new Branch Manager will be appointed in due course. Richard has over 25 years experience of working in Financial Services in Wales and the Midlands and lives with his family locally.
The new branch has been extremely well received and is a welcome addition to the local high street reversing the trend of other financial institutions closing branch offices on the high street.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefited you?
Being a member of the Chamber gives the Society greater exposure in the South Wales area and allows the Society to tap into the experience of the Chamber when promoting its products and services to the South Wales community. The Society was recently featured in the latest edition of the Chamber Chat magazine and a number of our younger members of staff are part of the Swansea Young Professionals networking group.
Why would you recommend the Chamber membership to other businesses?
The Society has only recently become a member, so we are looking forward to seeing what being a member brings in terms of increasing brand awareness and developing local contacts across South Wales.
