Now a graduate from The University of South Wales, Sarah decided to start up her business in her second year after winning £500 in a university competition. She felt the current market for handmade menstrual products was not going in the direction she would’ve steered it, with other traders often importing from questionable locations and charging extortionate rates to handmake.
Sarah believes that House of Callaway not only stands for breaking the taboos that surround menstruation, it also stands for young people doing what they believe is right rather than ‘following the crowd’.
