DANIEL SHEPHERD, CANDO LAUNDRY
My name is Daniel Shepherd; I am an enthusiastic, driven and focused individual trying to achieve success in life and business by being an entrepreneur. I began CanDo Laundry Services at the age of 19 after completing my first year of university in Business Management/Marketing, but after completing the first year I saw an opportunity to begin my own venture in the textile industry. I started with domestic washing machinery and a little plan of what I wanted to achieve in life. After 4 years I am now at full capacity with commercial machinery and contracts for many hotels, factories and private hospitals. The quick growth has led to build a team of 10 members of staff. I am exceptionally driven towards success and the need to benefit local communities by ways of local employment and enterprising activities. My motivation stems from simply wanting to achieve what some may say is unachievable, to prove those who have elements of doubt, wrong and provide an example of hard work does really pay off.
SCOTT JONES, ILLUSTRATE DIGITAL
Scott started Illustrate Media in 2010, when he was just 19 years old. Before that, he had worked as a shift manager in the Holiday Inn chain, as a regional manager for CPS Midlands, a parking control solutions company and also for 3 years as the Media Director for TCC Life in Wigan. Illustrate began with just Scott, based out of his home in Wigan, when he was asked to make a couple of websites by friends. One thing led to another and before long, he had started to build a portfolio of clients and a network of partners that were leading to more and more work. In 2013, Scott asked Kyle Nel, his friend and business partner, to come on board as Technical Director.
